Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Agreement

By engaging AITERIX for consultancy services, you agree to these terms. These terms apply to all engagements, whether initiated via email, LinkedIn, or any other channel.

AITERIX is operated by Tapan Bavaliya. For questions about these terms, contact tapan@aiterix.com.

2. Discovery calls

A discovery call is a free, pre-engagement conversation. Booking or attending a discovery call does not constitute a formal engagement and creates no contractual obligation on either side.

Information you share during a discovery call — including details about your product, team, and compliance goals — is treated as confidential in accordance with Section 5 of these terms.

3. Services

AITERIX provides compliance readiness consultancy services including but not limited to:

  • GDPR gap assessments and readiness preparation
  • ISO 27001:2022 readiness support and documentation assistance
  • SOC2 readiness assessments and audit preparation

The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each engagement are agreed in writing before work begins.

4. Deliverables and intellectual property

All documents, templates, roadmaps, and other materials produced by AITERIX during an engagement are delivered to the client upon completion of the engagement.

AITERIX retains the right to use anonymised, non-identifying methodologies and frameworks derived from engagements in future work.

5. Confidentiality

AITERIX treats all information shared by clients as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your business information, technical details, or compliance status to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

6. Payment

Payment terms are agreed in writing before each engagement begins. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur interest at the statutory rate.

7. Limitation of liability

AITERIX provides guidance and preparation support, not legal advice. Compliance readiness work is provided on a best-efforts basis. AITERIX is not liable for the outcome of any certification process, audit result, or regulatory decision.

Our total liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued engagement with AITERIX after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
